Sport has been a constant thread woven throughout my life. In the past, I embraced running, hitting the pavement 3 to 4 times a week. Eventually, facing some challenges, I shifted gears to the gym, but after a few years, the monotony wore on me. Seeking a renewed sense of freedom, I turned to cycling, finding joy in the open air. What began as a casual bike ride evolved into longer journeys spanning weeks and, at times, months across Europe over the last 5 years.
Inspired by fellow long-distance bikers online, a desire to venture beyond European borders ignited. At the top of my bucket list now is a journey from Hanoi to Kuala Lumpur, passing through Bangkok. So, with ample free time on my hands, I've set the wheels in motion, scheduling this epic adventure for November and December 2024.
Adding depth to my passion for long-distance biking, I decided to tie it to a sponsorship project. The idea is to raise funds for a cause close to my heart. After careful consideration, I chose to support TCDF, a well-established organization in Thailand. Their commitment to providing medical care and special needs education to children falling through the conventional system resonated with me. Having personal connections with the founders and managers, I trust their dedication to steering these projects in the right direction. As the wheels turn on my journey, they'll also be turning for a meaningful cause.
